(France/Germany, 2005, 116 minutes)

An awkward provincial teenager obsessed with a celebrated pop star becomes her unlikely confidante. Fascinatingly overwrought melodrama that elegantly manages to step back from all the traps and the implausibility of the central conceit to become a truly disturbing study on the nature of obsession, with two marvelous leads.
