Eragon

In a mythical land, a teenage farmboy finds himself safekeeping the last dragon egg that holds out hope for freedom from the tyrannical rule of a dreaded king. Very well made but highly derivative adventure fantasy for younger audiences, with excellent trick effects; there’s a neat old-fashioned charm to its overuse of all the genre clichés, though anyone over 15 will find it a disposable time-passer.
