In 1902 London, illustrator Beatrix Potter finally finds a publisher willing to take on her stories for children, and finds love and independence in the process. Charmingly done but rather insubstantial biopic of the celebrated author, its surfeit of British tasteful production values failing to hide a miscast lead.
