Savage Grace

(Spain/France/USA, 2007, 97 minutes)

The true story behind the 1972 London murder of American socialite Barbara Daly Baekeland by her son Antony. Good-looking but oblique melodrama of privileged ennui and sexual provocation; quite well done, elegantly handled and featuring a superb lead performance, but somewhat mystifying as to what it really means to say.
