RWANDA - LE JOUR OÙ DIEU EST PARTI EN VOYAGE

France/Belgium

94 minutes

In 1994, as the Rwandan genocide is underway, a young nanny is left to her own devices and tries to survive after finding her children dead. Brave but failed attempt at addressing the Rwandan genocide within the confines of a first-person drama; the general bleakness and worthiness remain unleavened by a naturalistic approach and an outstanding lead performance.
